School mornings in our house are a blur of cleats, lunch boxes and "where's my water bottle?" That's why I prep these overnight oats the night before. Breakfast is done, and my protein and creatine are already in it.

Why Momentous is in my routine

I use Momentous Whey Protein Isolate (20g grass-fed protein per serving, NSF Certified for Sport) and Signature Spec Creatine, which is third-party tested and dissolves without grit, so you can't tell it's in there. Stirring both into breakfast means I don't have to remember them later. Consistency is the whole point with creatine, and this makes it automatic. Find them at @live.momentous.

Strawberry Protein Overnight Oats

Makes 1 jar. Prep: 5 minutes. Chill: overnight (or at least 4 hours).

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

  • 1 scoop Momentous Whey Protein Isolate, Strawberry or Vanilla

  • 1 scoop Momentous Signature Spec Creatine, Unflavored (or Lemon for a strawberry-lemonade twist)

  • 1/2 cup milk of choice

  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup chopped strawberries, plus more for topping

  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

Steps

  1. In a jar, whisk the protein, creatine and milk until smooth (add the powder to the liquid first so it doesn't clump).

  2. Stir in the yogurt, oats, chia seeds, maple syrup and salt.

  3. Fold in the chopped strawberries.

  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  5. In the morning, stir, add a splash of milk if it's thick, and top with fresh berries. Eat cold or microwave 60 to 90 seconds.

Approximate nutrition: about 30g protein per jar, depending on your milk and yogurt.

Tips

  • Make 4 jars on Sunday for the week.

  • Swap in Chocolate whey plus banana and peanut butter for a kid favorite.

  • Short on time? Toss a few Creatine Chews in your bag instead.
